Development of Thrie-Beam Retrofit for Upgrading Obsolete Bridge Rails

Description: The installation consisted of a 10-gauge thrie beam guardrail system mounted to 33 posts anchored to a concrete curb on a bridge deck.  On both the upstream and downstream ends, the thrie beam transitioned to a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Downstream Anchor Terminal (DAT). The length-of-need for this installation was 100 ft.
