Bridge rail transition GR post backfill.

Recently the department developed a new end of bridge flume standard eliminating the need of large end of bridge drainage box structure to improve the bridge approach slab backfill compaction.
The location of 7.5 ft. wide, 8" deep, and 24" deep rip-rap flume interferes with the first 4 posts (quarter spaced) of the bridge transition typically placed within1:2 bridge approach fill slope. In addition, a layer of concrete grout is proposed to offer stabilization for the flume. Will this modification impact the safety performance of thrie beam transition?
