Description: The Directional Barricade test article is composed of a base, double sided plastic boards and support legs. The overall dimensions including height, base width and base length of the test article are 39.5 in (1,003 mm) x 16 in (406.4 mm) x 26 in (660.4 mm), respectively. The height of base support is 3" (76.2 mm). 24 in x 12 in (609.6 mm x 304.8 mm) top, 8 in x 12 in (203.2 mm x 304.8 mm) middle and 8 inx 12 in (203.2 mm x 304.8 mm) bottom boards are supported using 1.5 in x ¼ in (38.1 mm x 19.1 mm) plastic bars. The Directional Barricade is equipped with a traffic light at the top and panels are mounted on both sides of the barricade. The traffic light was a 3-Volt Amber LED Barricade Flasher and it was a 3rd party purchase. The dimensions of the flasher were around 10.5 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep, often featuring a 7-inch diameter lens and housed in high-impact polypropylene with amber polycarbonate lenses for visibility and durability, running on two D cell batteries for extended life. The test article is surface mounted and required no installation. Weight of test article was approx. 44.4 lb (20.1 kg) including the base.
