Description: The TTMA-200 is trailer attenuator designed to dissipate the kinetic energy of an impacting vehicle to reduce the severity of a crash. As the impact head and mandrel are pushed forward into the first tube, the tapered mandrel bursts the first tube at the corners into four (4) straps. The bursting of the first tube dissipates the kinetic energy of the impacting vehicle.
