Type III L-Channel Barricade

Description: The Rent-A-Flash Type III L-Channel Barricade is a work-zone traffic control device consisting of three (3) 96.0 in. (2440mm) long, 1.0 in. (25mm) thick plastic panels. The as-tested device weighed 54.0 lbs (24.5 kg). The Tyle III L-Channel Barricade was tested with two (2) 20.0 lbs (9.1 kg) sandbags on each leg.   The Type III L-Channel Barricade has a height of 63.0 in. (1600mm) measured to the top of the vertical L-Channels; the panels are 20.0 in (508mm) apart measured from the top of the panels. The panels are attached to the vertical L-Channel with ASTM A307 3/8 in. diameter bolts, each panel requires four (4) bolts, two (2) on each vertical L-Channel. The bolts are 3.5 in. (89mm) apart. The footprint of the base L-Channel is 58.0 in (1473mm) by 57.0 in. (1448 mm). A 1/8 in. thick square tube was welded to the base L-Channel so the vertical L-Channel can fit inside the tube. The tube is welded to the base L-Channel 17.75 in. (450mm) from the edge of the base.
