Description: The installation consisted of a 50 foot long length of need W-beam guardrail embedded in crushed concrete, which transitoned to a single W-beam gurdrail mounted to wing wall posts. From there the rail transitioned to a section of Thrie-beam rail beofre terminating into a concrete parapet mounted on a moment slab. The wingwall posts for the W-beam and Thrie-beam were mounted onto concrete with a drain inlet placed at post 16&17. THe rails were held at a consistent height of 31 inches to the top of the rail, and the parapet was 32 inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 16 feet long. On the upstream end, the length of need rail terminated with a steel rail terminal.
